We are all looking for stability in a shaky world. We want something we can get a hold of that’s firm and sure and an anchor in the mist of the instability in which we are living.
When you think of an anchor, you usually picture the heavy object that’s tied to a ship that keeps it secure to the bottom of the sea. An anchor is something that provides a firm foundation and security. We all need an anchor to steady ourselves in this world. It keeps in us steadfast and gives us hope during the trials and storms of life. Hebrews 6 tells us that it is our hope that is the anchor for our soul.
