2 edge sword symbolizes attack and destruction in Jesus Church 
Daniel is to Old Testament as Jesus is to Revelation
Ephesus message to them to repent
Smyrna message they were the synagogue of Satan. Hated Christians, they called them cannibals because they didn’t understand the bread and the wine (the last supper)
Pergamum invented Parchment paper. They were the church of science and health
Thyatira the message was they started out good, but some tolerated the Jezebel (her sexual immorality- she was a false prophetess)
Sardis the dead church, they worshipped Cybele ( a mother-goddess)
Philadelphia which means brotherly love. Message was to push harder to see Jesus.
Laodicea they are lukewarm neither cold not hot. God wishes them one or the other, then he could spit them out of his mouth, Hot water symbolizes cleansed or purified Cold water can refresh and enliven. Lukewarm water carries no similar value, good for nothing.
The Four Living Creatures:
They were exalted angels. They Symbolize the Tribes of Israel 
Ox – Tribe of Ephraim
Lion- Tribe of Judah
Man – Tribe of Reuben
Eagle Tribe of Dan
