Find new ways to pursue spiritual growth by following the steps and glorify God, through what talents He has given you. And then discover the opportunities that cultivate your gift in your community.
Everyone has a gifting, some talent or skill that God has blessed them with. So, what’s yours? How are you using it to serve one another, to steward God’s varied grace (1 Peter 4:10). Sometimes it can be hard to know where to start. But here are the few steps to help you glorify God with the gifts He has given you.
1. Find your gift, whether it is a God-given talent or a spiritual gift Find your gift, whether it is a God-given talent or a spiritual gift.
The best way to begin using your gift to horrify God, if you identify which talent you enjoy using, and which ones you would like to invest more time in. Consider things that are easy for you, whether it is a sport, an art form, a subject in school, or a social skill. Some good questions to ask yourself, which identify your talent are:
- What do you like to do in your free time?
- What spiritual gifts do you possess?
There are quizzes you can take on the Internet that will help you find your gifts and talents.
You may be able to identify a variety of skills, that, naturally to you, or there may be one that you were looking to hone in on. Either way, keep one of the talents in mind if you move through the phone since she glorify God with using these practical and achievable tactics.
2. Thank God for your gift.

4. Practice your passion.
This step is straightforward, work on mastering your gift in order to stay equipped and using your talents to glorify God. One way to do this is to create a practice schedule. He was a date and a time once a week and spend time dedicated to refining and strengthening your gift.
5. Study scripture that gives you guidance regarding gifts, and how to glorify God using them.
Here are some scriptures to meditate on, but kill us. God created us with these gifts on purpose.
“ I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful all your works, my soul knows it very well.“ Psalm 139:14
“ Worthy are you, our Lord, and God, to receive glory and honor and power, were you created all things, and by your will they existed, and were created.” Revelation 4:11
Honor God by taking time to read His Word. Reflect on scriptures regarding this topic, could help you discover the best way to glorify God through your gifts.
6. Share your gift with your family.
Share your ideas on how you can use your gift to glorify God. Ask if you can brainstorm with you if you come up with more opportunities to do this. He’ll your talent to your siblings too. Ask your siblings about their gifts. You by initiating conversation with the your love ones, you can share wisdom and experience when it comes to using your passions for God glory,.
7. Share your gifts with your friends.
You want to do the same thing with your friends. So then your talent and ask them about theirperiod together you can look for opportunities to share your gifts with others. Encourage them to recognize God‘s hand in your abilities and pray for them to have guidance in this area.
8. Volunteer your restraint in your community were local church.
Once you feel confident in your ability to use your gift, publicly, talk with your Pastor about opportunities to use your gift more. If your gifts are playing an instrument, ask your Pastor if you can play on the worship team, if your gifts are drawing or painting.see if your Pastor will let you post see if your Pastor will let you hang up some in your church. Maybe your gift is teaching, ask Pastor if you can participate in children’s church. The only way to glory God is by blessing others. Make a way to use your gift to bless your friends, family, church, or community.
9. Connect with people who share your passion.
Whether it’s a church or school, finding others who were made with the same talent as you in a great way to grow in these areas by pushing each other to practice more and encourage each other to display your gifts. A great way to do this is by joining clubs, or other groups, it will help you connect with peers who share your interests. Additionally, it can be a great idea to team up with others, who have different talents than you to help you expand your opportunities.
Hopefully these few steps will help you get started by identifying your gifts and bringing glory to God. It is important to remember what Paul said in Ephesians 2:10,
“ For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
