Satan’s Weapons Of Destruction

There are four weapons Satan uses in the destruction of the world. They include:

1. Darkness

“In whom the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God, should not be dawn to them.“ – 2 Corinthians 4:4

2. Destruction

“Who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its city… you have destroyed your land and slain your people.“ – Isaiah 14:17, 20

3. Deception –

“Their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools…who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator.” – Romans 1:22-23, 25

4. Division –

“For son dishonors father, daughter rises against her mother, daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the me of his own household.“ – Micah 7:6

While God wields the same weapons when He chooses. The difference is: God uses them for good. Satan uses them for harm.

Satan’s idea of an open mind is one that is closed to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Satan kills because it’s his nature to do so. He destroys whole families, and whole cities, to contrast a barrier between the survivors and God.

Surprising your enemy is one of the most well known principles of war. Satan is so good at it that he after deceives people who should know better for their entire lifespan. What a surprise to learn that humans are not so wise after all .

Have you ever wondered if all the bickering in families, in churches, and in societies has a demonic purpose? The world had only started to use biological weapons in the last century, but Satan has been using them for thousands of years.

True believers have engaged in a spiritual battle against these unseen forces of darkness. Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:13 that “we do joy wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.” In this ongoing conflict, it is essential to understand the spiritual weapons employed by the enemy, is described in the Bible.

I want to shed some light on Satan’s spiritual weapons and there impact.

  • Blinding of minds – The deception of the god of this world: Satan’s primary weapon is deception as he seeks to blind people from perceiving the truth through worldly distractions, false ideologies, and temptations, he puts a veil on the light of Jesus, preventing unbelievers from embracing salvation and spiritual transformation. He does this by fostering doubt, promoting self-reliance, and amplifying the allure of sin. Believers need to engage in this battle and engage in prayer to counteract the enemies deception.
  • Destruction and Chaos – The wilderness maker: Isiah describes Satan’s destructive nature. Who made the world as a wilderness and destroys its cities “you have destroyed your land and slain your people. Satan seeks to bring chaos and ruin to God’s creation. He manipulates circumstances, incites conflict, and promotes rebellion, leading individuals and societies astray from God’s purposes. In our lives, Satan’s weapon of destruction manifests as despair, broken relationships, addiction, and moral decay. However, through Jesus, believers can stand against this weapon by clinging to the truth, and relying on God’s Word. By cultivating a genuine relationship with Jesus, we can discern the lies of Satan (and his followers) and live in the light of God’s truth.
  • Division– Enemies from within: Micah warns of a distressing reality; When son dishonor’s father, daughter rises against mother… Satan employs this weapon of division, sowing discord and strife even within families and close relationships. This tactic seeks to weaken the unity and love among believers hindering the spread of the Good News of the light of Jesus, and disrupting the work of God. We need to counteract this division by cultivating forgiveness, and practicing humility and fostering reconciliation. Through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit we can stand firm against Satan’s attempts to sow discord and maintain unity within the body of Christ.

In this spiritual battle it is essential to be aware of Satan’s weapons and tactics. By understanding these four weapons we can equipped ourselves with the “full armor of God.”

1 John 4:4 encourages is, “He who is in you is greater that he who is in the world.”

In this world, a military force that can operate in pitch darkness while it’s enemy sleeps, or falters is practically unbeatable. If that enemy has night vision capabilities and does not sleep while on duty; any gain is negligible.

An enlargement mind is not hoodwinked; it is not shut up in a gloomy prison till it thinks the walls of its own dungeon the limits of the universe, and reach its own chain the outer verge of intelligence.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

God creates darkness, sometimes clothes Himself in darkness, and at times delivers people into darkness, But He does so for our own good.

Satan, the god of this w, employs various spiritual weapons to deceive, blind, and destabilize humanity. Through deception, ignorance, and instability, he seeks to keep people in spiritual darkness, disconnected from the truth and saving grace of Jesus.

However, believer’s have access to powerful weapons on their own. By embracing the light of the gospel, pursuing knowledge and understanding, biblical truth, and finding stability in Jesus’s love, we can stand firm against the schemes of Satan.

When we find light of Jesus Christ, it is of weapon against deception and the bonding of mind. When we accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. this light illuminates, our lives, dispelling the darkness of sin and ignorance. God‘s word reveals the truth about God‘s love, forgiveness, redemption, and offers hope and salvation to all who believe as believers we had the privilege of responsibility to share the good news of Jesus and he’s light.

Life though faith, Jesus offers reverse and abundant life. Our focus should always be aligning our lives with God’s will and following his teachings.

Truth is knowledge and understanding. The pursuit of wisdom and knowledge is rooted in God‘s word, and is another crucial weapon in our spiritual arsenal with knowledge and understanding, we will be able to discern and recognize the deceitful tactics employed by Satan and the world system. we can develop spiritual windows through which we can evaluate ideologies, philosophies, and trends that contradicts God’s truth. This knowledge and understanding we require equip us to engage in meaningful conversations, defending the faith, and currently leading others to the light of Christ.

Weapons and Destruction

Satan rejoices in this question; if there is a God, Why does He allow so much evil and suffering?

“The perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” -Proverbs 11:3

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are a few who found it.” – Matthew 7:13-14

“Their feet run to Evo, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.” – Isaiah 59:7

“A fools lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes. A fools mouth is his distraction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.” – Proverbs 18:6-7

“All that is needed for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing.“

“I do not believe in immortality the individual, and I consider ethics to be an exclusively human concern with no superhuman authority behind it.” -Albert Einstein.

“If you were to destroy in mankind, the belief of immortality, not only love, but every living force maintaining the life of the world would be dried up. Moreover, nothing then, would be immortal, everything would be permissible, even cannibalism.” – German-born Fyodor Dostoyevsky 1821-1881.

Utter Destruction of Creation and Humanity

In the spiritual realm, sitting in the world system, employ various weapons to bring destruction upon creation and humanity. The weapons manifest in the form of perverse transgressions, the wide path of destruction, evil deeds, foolishness, love or money, earthly desires, rejection of wisdom, poverty and insatiable greed.

Proverbs 11:3 warned that perverseness of transgressors lead to their own destruction. When individuals choose to deviate from God’s righteous path and embrace sinful ways, they bring harm upon themselves and others. This weapon highlights the importance of seeking wisdom, and following God‘s commandments, and avoiding the allure of sinful desires that ultimately lead to ruin.

In the face of the spiritual weapons of Satan and the world system aimed at the destruction of creation and humanity, it is essential for us to stand firm in our faith and actively resist these destructive forces. We cannot afford to be complacent or ignorant of the tactics employed against us any longer, we need to become more than conquers.

“In all things we are more than conquerors through him that loved with us.” – Romans 8

I want to encourage all of us, as we are, in the midst of going through this that we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ who loves us.
