What makes a good neighbor?
A good neighbor is friendly and considerate. They respect your space and privacy, considerate and are approachable.
They are trustworthy, it’s always nice to know if you have a package on your front porch and it will be safe. Being a good neighbor means having peaceful communication with them, knowing they will have your back.
In my neighborhood we watch out for any illicit activities on other people’s land. It’s bringing meals to neighbors who are sick and can’t cook for themselves.
Looking out for one another’s children, and property and be willing to call the authorities if necessary. Being a good neighbor that don’t tell people what they should feel.
If a new neighbor moves into your neighborhood go over with a batch of freshly baked cookies or something to welcome them into the neighborhood.
It all comes down to showing hospitality and welcoming people into your home. It’s not about appearances,or where they lived before or whether they are able to help us in return. It’s about loving your neighbor.
