How To Talk To God

God used to talk directly with our ancestors. There are multiple examples in the Bible. It is still possible to talk to God today.

You are talking to God when you pray, the Bible has a lot to say about prayer, but I thought I would give you three key takeaways.

1.God wants you to talk to Him. He wants you to talk to Him because He loves you and wants fellowship with you.

2. God promises to hear you. He promises to answer our prayers.

3. Why you are able to talk to God is important. When you understand this it will all makes sense.

We can speak directly to God because of what Jesus Christ did for us. There was a barrier between God and our ancestors. The Bible tells us, “It’s our sins that have cut us off from God. Because of our sins, He has turned away and will not listen anymore (Isaiah 59:2).

When Jesus died on the cross. He got rid of that barrier between God and us. All we have to do is accept that gift. Submit and release all of our burdens to Him and start following Him. Then the gap between us and God disappears and we can talk to Him like an honored guest before a King.

The Bible says, “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most (Hebrews 4:16).

Before I came to God I was a horrible person, I was the definition of sin. But I chose to come to Him and submit and release my burdens He forgave me. It was the best decision I have ever made.

Heaven is full of answers to our prayers that were never asked. There are no limits to prayer. God can hear you from any location and any language no matter what you done He can forgive you. Lean on the promise of God, receive His Son as your Savoit, and tell Him about everything in your life He promises to hear you and forgive your sins.
