How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?
Unplugging. I do not take phone calls or texts after 9:00 at night. I usually spend about an hour reading my Bible before bed. I unwind by taking a long bath or shower and listening to relaxing music.
If I am unable to sleep I use Jewish meditation techniques or if I have trouble sleeping J listen to bed time Psalms and pray.
Settling down with a few relaxing activities tells your body it’s time to sleep. If you do them every night around the same time it becomes easier to get the rest you need.
