Traditions Not Kept From My parents

What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?

Some Hungarian traditions are music, dance, cooking, and embroidery along with being very involved in their children’s lives. My nagymomma did beautiful embroidery work, but I have not kept up the beautiful work. I never had the patience for it. I remember my father loved Hungarian music and dancing. While I learned a few dances, I haven’t kept up with them.

My mother was Shawnee Indian, I never learned much from her at all Except for the Indian fry bread recipe.
