What is your favorite hobby or pastime?
My favorite pastime is spending time in nature. It’s the feeling of peace that it provides.
When I feel stressed or have anxiety I know I can head to the hills and feel at ease.
The studies show us that spending time improves mood, as well as improves cognition and memory.
Being in nature reduces anger, fear, and stress and promotes pleasant feelings. It not only makes us feel better emotionally it also contributes to physical well-being. Reducing blood pressure, heart rate, and muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones.
So, if your feeling stressed or anxious use nature as a healthy coping mechanism.
