My most memorable road trip was to Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Colorado. It is Colorado’s best geothermal Hot Springs. There are 16 geothermal springs in along the Colorado river.
My husband and I went there for a romantic getaway. But it actually turned in a weekend of arguing about the hotel I made reservations at. Which caused him to sit the vehicle while I enjoyed the hot springs for the day. Then we came home, driving over 14 hours in 2 days was not my idea of a romantic getaway.
I never found out what the real issue that was causing tension. Sometimes in life a small issue sets us off that causes an emotional response. I’m sure it didn’t all have to do with the hotel not being up to his expectations.
