What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?
Old family traditions like large get togethers are a thing of the past. I think it has been the downfall of the family dynamic.
Our geological areas have made it harder, along with work hustles and cultural shifts.
Family tension and unresolved conflicts often reduce the desire to gather together. And the loss of people who were the anchors of generations.
I miss getting together with my family. Some of my cousins I haven’t seen in over 5 years.
It seems like the only time we get together is for funerals and weddings.
