What would you do if you lost all your possessions?
Losing all my possessions I’m sure I would miss a few things like my Bible and the old pictures I cherish.
But even in that I would praise the Lord. Having possessions is just a status symbol on earth. The Bible tells us in Matthew 6:19-21 to “not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.
God would still remain worthy of praise and that sometimes loss can purify our focus.
Losing my possessions would be a way to uncover who we really are, beyond our attachments.
