Let’s imagine there is a holiday called Day of Open Hands. It’s a chance to celebrate humanity shared capacity for kindness, generosity, and connection. A day where everyone practices active compassion through giving, helping, and understanding.
It would be a gift of good deeds, shared food, stories of generously, and gratitude.
The ways of the world can sometimes feel dark and lonely. It seems anymore it’s any more one man for himself alone. No one else matters.
If you watch the news it seems the hate, killing and greed are every where. Until people learn how to be selfless instead of selfish things will not change.
