I grew up with a superstitious mother. “Don’t break a mirror you will have seven years’ bad luck.” And “Don’t pass a black cat’s path, because they are a witch’s messenger.” As a younger girl, I saw no patterns of truth in her superstition beliefs.
Superstitions were just a fear based, misguided attempts to control the unknown. They rely on rituals and objects. I choose to have faith in God’s divine promises and truth.
