Most people struggle to understand God because of the vast, finite gap, where human logic cannot comprehend an all-knowing, eternal being.
Humans are finite and cannot understand an infinite God. Most people see with their earthly eyes not their spiritual eyes. Most suppress the truth because they prefer to live in darkness or prioritize human logic over spiritual discernment, which can lead to misunderstanding.
Matthew 6:19-21 warns us against prioritizing, earthly rewards, saying “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth…but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” Jesus teaches that seeking praise or material wealth on earth means receiving rewards on earth and not in heaven.
