The Power Of “I Can”

There are 1000’s of books, videos, speakers, and trainings that have infinite potentials of positive thinking, and optimism out there telling us how to transform our lives from ordinary to the heights of success.

But the context of them are those three little words, “Yes I Can.” In my opinion those words are very crucial and vital. Especially at the first step towards any positive thought or action. When we keep telling ourselves “Yes, I can,” with a strong belief and resolution can actually infuse a sudden energy and cheerfulness in us. In one magic moment a rush of positive thoughts and energy drives away all the negativity we sometimes drown ourselves in. Have you ever noticed that some people say, “Yes, You Can” when your talking to someone about your goal, and ideas. They have more faith in you than you do.

Even the world’s greatest thinkers, leaders, scientists, artists, and writers, would most certainly started by truly believing, “Yes, I can” attitude initially to boost their confidence, self-belief, and determination which led to their highest pinnacles of success, glory, and great satisfaction and recognition when the final reached their ultimate goal.

I few years back I was thrown into of being in a Presidential position at a organization that I was volunteering at, for 6 months, until they could have someone else for that position. I had no faith in myself what so ever. I was the quiet person who tried the hardest in blend in to the wall. But, everyone was saying, “You can do this.” So, I accepted the position. a little unwilling. A Few weeks later, everything fell into place, and realized a could do it.

In our daily lives have many ups and downs almost every day. Whether we experience success or get bogged down by repeated failures. These three little words can give us fresh hope to get us through the rest of the day, or week, or month, or year.

What seems impossible to us in the past, will now seem possible.

A Gift From God or Satan’s Counterfeit?

How to discern the two

Is the devil in the blessing business?

Yep.

At least it starts out feeling like a blessing.

Have you ever prayed for something that you knew (or suspected) was outside of God’s perfect will – but you received it anyway?

At that moment of “answered prayer,” did you ever feel like, “WoW, I was wrong.” It must have been God’s will for me to have this. Otherwise, why would He give it to me?

That person, place, or thing became the object of your testimony – ‘Look what God has done!’ Your whole world was filled with joy. You told your friends and family about how “God has blessed me.” But they didn’t have the same joy for you, or congratulations you expected, you chalked it up to jealousy or envy.”

Then something strange eventually happened, After the thrill of victory wore off, and you had “this blessing” for a while – the blessing began to turn on you!

How many of you have era “blessing” that turned on you?

We knew when I signed the papers and bought my house, it was too good to be true. A big house on a big lot, and such a good price. After a few weeks of moving in, things started going wrong. A feeling of great dread came over it. Oh No! We couldn’t afford to fix all the problems the house had, now causing extreme, undue stress, trying to keep our heads above water. What a way to loose a “blessing” right?

How many relationships did you pray for God to bless that He didn’t even accept, call or choose to be in your life? Yes, I’ve had a few of those too. In our own eyes the relationship seemed to mirror the image of our fantasies.

Maybe, it wasn’t the devil blessing us as much of that God allows the manifestation of our selfish flesh-filled desire to teach us.

Desires that are aptly disguised with great intentions and great promises that are just as holey dirty rags,

After a few loans from the bank, and a whole lotta budgeting,we got the house fixed up, Well, at least my children were told the wrong and right way to buy a house.

And we were grateful to God that next time we wouldn’t be so ignorant.

Even though delivering from our ignorance of any situation we get ourselves into involves many days, weeks months, or even years of being chained to our choices and living out the consequences.

I hated some of the things, I so wanted God to “bless” me with. But I had to accept the tough love, where God’s mercy tolerates our pain, but doesn’t let the pain destroy us.

The Devil would have us to believe that earthy success, wealth, and even fame must be an indication that God was blessing us. We should not be deceived. We should run from any person who teaches is that money equals godliness or that financial wealth is the barometer of God’s anointing (1 Timothy 6:5-6).

There is nothing inherently wrong with being successful, deathly, or having fame. What’s wrong with this is we allow these things pull us away from God, or out of God’s will, and into things that displease God and how we can let’s a curse bless us again.

So, how can you tell if something is a gift from God – or just another one of the devils counterfeits fueled by our flesh?

  • Be honest with yourself. If something sounds to good to be true it probably is.

Tell the truth, especially to yourself. We may be able to fool the people around us, but we cannot fool God. Like, “God I want to win the lottery so I can help others.” Be truly honest. Have you helped others with what you already have? Whether it’s a kind word, your time or resources. What is the real deal? Why are you pursue what you want?

God searches our hearts and knows the truth. We can ask Him to reveal any hidden motives in us, (Psalm 139:23-24). Repent and commit to aligning your will with His. That’s where your true blessings are.

  • Know that every good and perfect gift comes from God.

When God blesses us, the gift will never turn on us (James 1:17). In God there is no “variables” or “Shadows” of turning. God’s nature toward His gifts never changes, and neither will the goodness of the gift.

The blessings God gives are perfect, complete and whole. You never have to worry about God being an Indian giver. His blessing are predestined and eternal.

  • God’s gifts add no sorrow.

When God blesses you, it does you no harm, no damage will come to your life or your relationships (Proverbs 10:22). His blessings will richly add not subtract – to your life spiritually emotionally, or mentally, not just financially. You will not become depressed, or miserable. The goal of God’s blessings is to prosper your soul for a legacy of godly living.

  • God’s love is greater than our earthly fathers.

Many of us have experienced great love from our fathers. Yet, even the best earthly fathers are still sinners who need the saving grace of Jesus. If our flawed fathers know how to give us good gifts, what will our Heavenly Father give us (Matthew 7:11). God loves us so much more than anyone else could ever imagine. He demonstrates His love by giving us His best.

  • God gifts us with unanswered prayers – be grateful

I know I have a few prayers, that I am very grateful God didn’t answer. No good thing will God withhold from you (Psalm 84:11). So, if you don’t receive it, keep it, or have it, it wasn’t good for you. Be grateful for every one of God’s No’s. Be thankful that He cares enough for us to not allow our begging and pleading for something that would destroy us if it were to come to pass. Sure, it won’t feel good at first, but when God reveals what would have been -Whew. Thank you God for not answering that prayer.

So, trust God’s choice blessing over what you think you need or want. Allow the joy of the Lord to enter your heart, and be your strength, your hope, and your pursuit (Nehemiah 8:10). When you do you will never have to experience the regret and decay of a blessing gone bad. Then you will be truly blessed.

The Bond Between Mother And Baby

This Blew My Mind

When pregnant, the cells of the baby migrate into the mother’s bloodstream and then circle back into the baby, it’s called “fetal- maternal micro-chimerism.”

For 41 weeks, the cells circulate and merge backwards and forwards, and after the baby is born, many of these cells stay in the mother’s body, leaving a permanent imprint in the mother’s tissues, bones, brain, and skin, and often stay there for decades. Every single child a mother has afterwards will leave a similar imprint on her body.

Even if pregnancy doesn’t go to full term or if you have an abortion, these cells still migrate into your bloodstream. Research has actually shown that if a mother’s heart is injured, fetal cells will rush to the site of the injury and change into different types of cells that specialize in mending the heart. This is often why certain illnesses vanish while pregnant.

Its incredible how mother’s bodies protect the baby at all costs, and the baby protects and rebuilds the mother back, so that the baby can develop safely and survive.

Think about the crazy cravings mother’s have while pregnant. What was the mother deficient in that the baby made them crave?

Studies have also shown cells from a fetus in a mother’s brain 18 years after she gave birth. That’s amazing.

If you’re a mom you know how you can intuitively feel your child even when they are not there…Well, now there’s scientific proof that moms carry them for years and years even after they have given birth to them.

My son lives 2000 miles away, and I can feel when he’s there is something wrong.

I find this very beautiful

Powerful “But God” Bible Verses The Will Strengthen Our Faith

Life and often throw a curveballs, leaving us even overwhelmed and uncertain. We grapple with difficult circumstances, unexpected setbacks, and personal trials that test our resilience. When we face such challenges, it’s natural to question our purpose and search for a glimmer of hope to guide us through the darkness.

The “But God” phrase that is commonly found in the Bible is a profound concept which can give us transformative power in our lives. With two words it explores the depths of despair, and the emergence of hope, which invites readers on a journey of faith and self-discovery. Amidst the chaos and confusion, the “But God” these Bible verses serve as an anchor, reminding us the there it a greater force at work.

What does “But God” signify?

“But God” is a phrase use in scripture, including the New Testament. It signifies a moment when everything seems lost, but then God intervenes and bring about a miraculous change.

In Genesis 8:1 it says, “But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and livestock with him in the boat” during one of the greatest storms in history. In this verse it shows even though Abraham faced many storms in his life, he had faith that God would bring him through them.

The “But God holds immense significance in the Gospel message. It is a scripture that emphasizes the role of Christ Jesus is bringing salvation to humanity, highlighting the stark contrast between human sinfulness and God’s grace.

We see in Galatians 1:15-16, when Paul writes, “ But God, who set me apart from my mothers womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal His Son to me so that I might teach the Gentiles about Him. My immediate response is not to consult any human being.” His words serve as a reminder that his salvation and calling were not a result of his own human effort or merit but rather a demonstration of God’s grace and plan.

“But God” salvation through faith in Jesus.

The phrase “But God” also, reminds us that, even though we are sinful creatures, God still loves us enough to offer at redemption. In Romans 5:8, Paul writes, “But God” demonstrated His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Yes, for shows how much God values humanity , despite our shortcomings. We see that it speak of in during the storm. This “But God” bible verse demonstrates that His love is steadfast and will carry us through our toughest times.

It is important to note that salvation does not come from anything we can do ourselves; it is entirely a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your one doing. It is a gift from God and not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

This worst emphasizes a fundamental aspect of the Christian faith, understory that salvation is not achieved by human effort but is entirely a gift from God. It highlights the significance of faith in God‘s plan, and understanding that there is no amount of personal work or achievement that can earn your way into heaven.

God racist want to prevent boasting, because salvation is not a result of human accomplishment, no one can boast about their own righteousness or merit. Eliminate the basis for pride and self glorification, as all credit for salvation belongs to God alone.

While it’s important to note, that different translations in the Bible may use a slightly different wording for the phrase “But God.” The message remains the same. God’s firm foundation stand and is always working for our good.

If you look at Genesis 50:20 We find one of the most famous instances of “But God.” It tells the account of Joseph, one of Jacob’s sons. Joseph was favored by his father. His brother became jealous and sold him into slavery in Egypt.

Years later, instead of perishing, at the hands of Pharaoh, he was given a position of power. He would once again meet his brothers as the begged him for food. When he finally reveals his identity, he tells them, “ You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

This passage provides context for us to understand that, even when things seem hopeless, or unfair, we can trust that God has a plan for our lives. He can take our struggles and turn them into something beautiful, I seen in various translations of the Bible.

Four Things Which Can Never Be Shaken

Now this, Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken will remain.” Hebrews 12:27

It is very encouraging that in a world of change and decay, there are some things which can never be shaken. Hebrews 12:27 we learn that a time of shaking is to be expected, for it predicts that there is coming a terrible time in the world when everything, except certain things which can never be shaken. It will be dissolved or removed (2 Peter 3:10)

Those things which can never be shaken are:

1. The Throne Of God Can Never Be Shaken

Psalm 45:6, and Lamentations 5:19 says “We can lift our hearts in gratitude that whatever else may happen, God’s throne will remain secure. Today we have to look at the above things of time and sense to find things that are permanent. Even the heavens will be shaken one day. But nothing can be shaken or change God, for He is eternal and immutable.

2. The Word Of God Can Never Be Shaken

We are assured of this in Mark 13:31 and 1 Peter 1:23-25. When we read our Bibles we can say three things.

  • It’s promises can never be shaken. It has been estimated that there are 30,000 promises in the Bible. Not one has ever failed or ever will fail. These are promises for every child of God and every situation in life, and these become ours when we put our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. – 2 Corinthians 1:20.
  • Its power can never be shaken. Romans 1:16 and Hebrews 4:12 assure us of this. The Word of God has power to convict (Acts 2:37) to convert (Psalm 19: 7), to comfort, to cleanse and council (Psalm 73:24, and it’s power will never change.
  • Its prophecies can never be shaken. Men may scoff at the prophecies contained in the Bible, but by doing so they fulfill the Bible (2 Peter 3:3-4. Many Bible prophecies have already been literally fulfilled and all the promises that await fulfillment will also be literally fulfilled.

We should thank God that in a shaking world our chart and compass are secure. The word of God (the Bible ) is thoroughly reliable.

3. The True Church Of God Can Never Be Shaken

The words of our Lord recorded in Matthew 16:18 assure us of this. In this amazing statement, the Saviour was assuring His disciples (and us) that the church is built on the solid foundation (1 Corinthians 3:22). Today churches, organized assemblies or communities of professing Christians, are being shaken on every hand, but the church, which is the body of Christ, cannot and will not be shaken. The visible church will be shaken but the heavenly realm cannot be touched. The true Church is secure, permanent and abiding. Are you a member of the true church? Not only a professing one, but a possessing one?

4. The Child Of God Can Never Be Shaken

Many biblical promises assure us of God’s concern for every one of His children and of His pledge to keep them secure until they are safely home with Him in heaven (John 10:27-29; Romans 8:38-39; 1 John 2:17; 2 Timothy1:12).

The Truth About God- Confidence VS Self-Confidence

We live in a world where self-confidence is the phrase of the 21 century. There’s so much talk about self-confidence and how important it is. Yes, self-confidence is important. But as a Christian, do we really think we should be relying on ourselves instead of God? Absolutely not. There’s a hierarchy God wants us to follow.

So let’s look at God-confidence vs self- confidence and I’ll show you God-confidence is truly the only way to go.

Because of the way the deck was dealt me in life. It’s easy to say I lack self-confidence. I am always second guessing myself and really have a issue with trusting anyone. This makes me feel inferior. And I always compare myself to others even though I know I should not. The devil naturally like to prey on these issues in my life. While I seem fine on the outside, I struggle daily with what’s going on inside. I know Jesus forgives me, but I have a difficult forgiving myself sometimes.

My point in sharing these insecurities is that when we feel inferior our first thought is to lean on ourselves to overcome those struggles. So, should we pick up a self-help book at the bookstore to figure it out by some expert puffing us up and telling us how great we are? No way! That’s never the best way is it? By putting God first in our lives, He becomes the first one we go to when we need help.

If we look in the dictionary it gives us two definitions of self-confidence. The first is a realistic confidence in one’s own judgment, ability, and power. And the second is excessive or inflated confidence in one’s own judgment or ability. First realistic and excessive which in any event, it’s all about me!

These two definitions go completely against the grain of what God wants for us. God-confidence means depending completely on God and His strength to handle the things in your life. It’s not about our strength or confidence we have in ourselves that we put into earthly things. Having a worldly focus means putting your confidence into things like money, education, people, and appearance. Having a Godly focus means to seek those things from above. When you have to choose, choose God and His path of righteousness.

So, how do we get God-Confidence?

It starts with a relationship with Jesus. If you died tomorrow, do you know for sure that your going to heaven? The answer comes to you when you have a personal relationship with Jesus. It’s the only way to know for sure. Without it you would be merely guessing to where your soul will go at the end of your time here on earth.

Discerning Lies From Truth

There are lies that immediately sound like lies and then there are those that closely resemble the truth.

You will not certainly die, ‘the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Genesis 3:4-5

In those instances, we have to be able to exercise discernment. This is the only way to identify falsehood and refute it with the truth of God’s Word.

In the book of Genesis 2:16, the Lord commanded Adam, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.” Here God gave Adam a clear command. God explained why He gave the command and he took the time to point out all of the alternative options in the garden that Adam could choose instead.

From a parenting standpoint, God clearly created boundaries and parameters for Adam and Eve to follow. Unfortunately the breakdown in communication occurred when Satan, in a cunning and sly way, deceived Eve into believing what God said was not true.

This is a lesson for all of us. When thoughts come to us, we should always measure their authenticity against God’s Word. We have the luxury of having God’s Word as close as our nearest device if we so choose. All we need to do is to read it.

Eve on the other hand, had to rely on her memory and it proved to be an insufficient match for the serpent. “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” -Genesis 3:4-5. The serpent told a lie. No, Eve would not die an immediate physical death, but she would eventually die. The devil knew this when he approached her.

He also knew that she would die a spiritual death as well. The serpent did not explain this to Eve because had he done so, the decision of whether or not to obey God would have been an easier No!. When we are tempted to disobey God, we need to weigh all the possible consequences of our actions. What may seem like an okay or harmless decision could have lasting repercussions.

The serpent sweetened his scheme by tempting Eve with the possibility of becoming ‘like’ God. He appealed to a secret desire in her heart to be all knowing. This lets us know that the devil knows us intimately. He can hear our thoughts and use them to impact our decisions.

Once our desires are involved resisting lies becomes that much more difficult. We must discern whether opportunities that are placed before us come from God or are traps set by the enemy. The only way to do this is to immerse ourselves in the word of God. In doing so we can readily recognize when an opportunity is rooting in lies or founded on truth.

Standing Strong Through Trying Times

Be Strong In The Lord

“Be strong in the lord, and in the power of His might“ (Ephesians 6:10). This literally means, “strengthen yourselves in the Lord.” The first thing we must realize if that in our own strength, we are no match for the devil. He is a very spiritual being that we must not try to engage on our own.

The last few weeks have been through hell, it seems. I’ve been in the emergency twice, admitted twice, with one almost killing me. A specialist prescribed some medication for a heart condition and I had a deadly reaction to it. After the time spent in the hospital, I was so tired I couldn’t even walk ten feet without getting out of breath. And then my vehicle started having major issues. I felt like I was being attacked on every side. I kept saying. “God Please Help!”

Satan realizes that God is our power base. Therefore, Satan’s goal is to get between our soul and God. He tries to separate our hearts from God and inspires our confidence to be in ourselves instead.

When we are being tested, we should always remember the Words of Jesus, “My Father… is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand” (John 10:29).

Absolutely nothing – nothing can ever separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39).

Remember Christ’s Victory Over Satan At The Cross

Devil does not want you to remember that he would soundly defeated at the cross. “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). Jesus broke Satan’s stronghold on humanity when He died on the cross (Colossians 2:14; John 12:31-32).

We are not fighting for our victory, we are fighting from His victory!

This is the Lord’s battle, not our own. We are simply individual soldiers in a vast army who are to obey the directions given to us by the captain of our salvation.

Jehoshaphat, King of Judah, recognized this when greatly outnumbered by his enemy. He prayed, “O our God, will you not judge them? Or we have no power against the great multitude that is coming against us; or do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You” ( 2 Chronicles 20:12). God answered King Jehoshaphat’s prayer through a prophet saying, “ The battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chronicles 20:15),

Resist the devil

We should keep as much distance between us and the devil as possible. “Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). We do this by avoiding things that will drag us down, spiritually. Disobedience and persistent waywardness provides the enemy grounds from which he can attack and influence the believer. This is why scripture reminds us not to give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27).

You will never win a spiritual battle in your own strength. You will only be successful when you draw your strength from the power base, which is God Himself. They are, you’ll find the strength and stamina to “stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11).

Don’t Tickle My Ears

Too many of us think reading the Bible is boring or too difficult. And too many of us are content in simply showing up at church on Sundays and believing anything the pastor or preacher tells us. They tickle the ears, by telling us what we want to hear. They say we can do anything we want and still be right with God.

False teachers are nothing new. In the first century, Paul sternly warned Timothy about certain preachers who know how to slice and dice God’s Word to make it fit what people want.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 Paul wrote: “For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine, but they will gather to themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, have itching ears, they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn to myths.”

The warning is clear. Be careful what you listen to!

There are many false doctrines being peached today, they are spread widely in churches all across the world. While we may no be able to stop the person who is preaching these heresies. We should never submit to theses teachings or supports them financially. And don’t ever believe their lies.

Have you ever seen a church with the parking lot completely full. I do, and I wonder why all these people are going their. Is the teacher tickling everyone’s ears. With there so much of that going on today. An expensive building and many vehicles in the parking area. I do not judge anyone but, I can’t help what I think. especially in small towns.

Here are a few things to watch out for when going to a new church.

Lie # 1: You don’t need to repent of your sin or focus on sin. While it’s true the many Believers don’t understand God’s love and forgiveness. We can’t swing the pendulum to the extreme and portray God as being lax about sin. Yes, God is holy, and His grace gives us the power to live a holy life. But if a preacher minimizes repentance, or says you shouldn’t worry about sin in your life, you should run out the door.

Lie # 2: You can live however you want to live sexually. Jesus Himself warned us in Revelation 2:20 about the influence of “Jezebel “ in the church. He said she was leading Believers to ‘commit acts of immorality.’ You can see tolerance of sexual sin in many segments of the church today. In some we hear of preachers commit child sexual abuse, and many have embraced same-sex marriage. And there are those who’s error is not worse than preachers who minimize or ignore the sin of adultery and cohabitation among straight people. We should never evaluate a minister just by what they preach, take note of what they say from the pulpit.

Lie # 3: You can buy God’s blessings. I do not believe in a poverty gospel, but the prosperity gospel that emerged in this country in the 1980s almost ruined the church. The greedy televangelist who manipulated audiences to give in the offering so he could buy airplanes or mansions will give an account for every soul he turned away from Christ. Never give to any ministry who promise people healings, spiritual gifts or salvation of loved one in exchange for a $$$ seed. God’s blessings are free. God should not be merchandised in His anointing.

Lie # 4: God never calls us to suffer. Whenever the church enters time of prosperity and ease, messages tend to get soft. In the 1980s preachers in silk ties told people they could name and claim whatever we wanted in Jesus Name. And while the verses they quoted about faith certainly apply to prayer, they mixed the message with the idea that life with God is like a bowl of cherries and that whatever hardship that came third way was from Satan. These preachers avoided 1 Peter 4:1, which says: “Therefore, since Christ had suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t trust a arrogant preachers who says they have never struggle with problems. Don’t follow anyone who has a Lexus or a four-car garage. Look for a broken minister who doesn’t own fancy cars, or fancy houses. A preacher who say’s believers don’t suffer has never felt the fire of God’s testing. And doesn’t know a Father’s discipline.

God is cleaning up His church today, and He is refining the message of His teachers. Don’t elevate or support false teachers or doctrines of the past. Don’t let them influence your life by speaking lies about who God really is. Embrace the true gospel. Which calls for each of us to take up our cross. It’s time to die to our own desires and be mature followers of Christ. Don’t let preachers tickle your ears, but telling you everything is fine when it’s not.

We need to be prepared when Jesus comes back.

10 Facts: The Founding Fathers

Men Who Forged Our Nation

#1 These seven men are the principle founding fathers

  • George Washington
  • Thomas Jefferson
  • John Adam’s
  • Benjamin Franklin
  • Alexander Hamilton
  • John Jay
  • James Madison

While there were many others who contributed to the founding of the United States, these seven are considered by most as the Founding Fathers. They all played key roles in the securing of American independence from Great Britain and in the creation of government of the United States of America.

#2 There are many others who are considered founding fathers.

While the principle seven contributed immensely to the founding, there are dozens of others who played smaller but valuable roles. George Madison, Patrick Henry, John Hancock, John Marshall, and Samual Adams are some of those, just to name a few,

There were 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence and 39 signers of the United States Constitution. In addition to men, women also player important roles, such as Abigail Adams and Mercy Otis Warren.

#3 Each Founding Father offered unique contributions to the creation of the republic.

While the contribution of men like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are more well know, the writings, thoughts, and actions of numerous others influenced the ultimate shape of America. Some thought, some wrote, some fought, and some served in public office. But all of them contributed in some way.

#4 The Founding Fathers are the most important people to study and gain an understanding of the American ideals of freedom and liberty.

The lives of these men are essential to understanding the American form of government and our ideas of liberty. The Founding Fathers were able to do what had only been dreamed of in Europe. How they accomplished what they did is essential in the study of American History and in understanding the global and timeless impacts of their work.

#5 While they all played important roles, the Founding Fathers often disagreed with each other.

The Founding Fathers are often viewed as largely in agreement and are often referred to as a single entity that all worked together to create one American nation. In reality, they had differences views on all sorts of issues, including the role of the federal government, the issue of slavery, and how radical or modern the American Revolution should be. At times, these differences of opinion destroyed friendships and threat to put America apart.

#6 Most of the Founding Fathers were young men when they created the Nation.

Often viewed as old men with white wigs and false teeth, many of the Founding Fathers were young when they helped create the Country. George Washington was 43 years old when he accepted command of the American Army during the war. Thomas Jefferson was 33 years old when he wrote the Declaration of Independence. John Adams was 40 years old when he was at the Constitution Convention. John Jay was 43 years old when he became the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Alexander Hamilton wax33 years old when he was made Secretary of the Treasury. The oldest was Benjamin Franklin who was 70 years I,d at the Second Continental Congress.

#7 The phrase “Founding Fathers” was popularized by Warren G Harding.

Now a commonly used phrase, the term did not appear widely until after the 29th President of the United States. Warren G Harding, began using it in many of his speeches in the late 1910s and early 1920s.

#8 Many if the Founding Fathers feared following generations might not be capable of maintaining American liberty,

Like other generations, many founders were unsure if the succeeding generations would be up to the task of protecting the liberty they had successfully secured. When Benjamin Franklin was asked after signing the Constitution if they had created a monarchy or a republic. Franklin replied “A republic, if you can keep it.” Well evidently we were unable to keep it. As we see today.

#9 The Founding Fathers were no perfect.

While the Founders created a form of government unlike any other in the world of that time, they were far from perfect people. Nearly have of them were slaveholders and all of them profited from the system of slavery in the United States. The nation they created ensured men were protected m but it would take until December 6, 1865. with the 13th Amendment. When all Americans were provided the same protections. Abraham Lincoln was the President who proposed the Amendment. That was the Statute the Black Lives Matter protesters tore down, during the riots in 2020.

#10 The Founding Fathers left an unparalleled legacy in world history.

Perhaps more than any other group of people in history, this small group of men distilled years of enlightenment thought into a form of government that sought to resist central power, protect the rights of the citizens, and ensure the consent of the government. To achieve this, they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. These ideas, they put into action some still believe to this day.

Men fought for their lives to secure and protect our freedom, Since 1775 American have fought so we could have freedom. Many have died so that we may have “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

And today many are fighting to destroy our chance at Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness.”

Happy Independence Day!

Praying Powerful Prayers

We all have hopes and dreams for our love ones, whether it’s for their salvation or their health or for other concerns. While it’s the most important thing can do is pray. Some people thing “My prayers don’t matter.” They feel as if their prayers simply evaporate into space. But we need to remember that we have a powerful God, and He promises that when we pray in Jesus Name, He will answer.

If you are wondering if you are, “doing it right,” or wondering why haven’t seen any fruit (answered prayer). Here are some simple important principles that I’ve learned over the years.

First thing firstIs to Consider how to spend your time with the Lord. Many times we come to God with a list of requests, But, it’s always best to praise God for who He is and what He has done. If someone came to and the first thing that come out of their mouth was “I Want.. I Want, would you fill their requests, or think “WoW, what a self-centered person?” Start your prayer time by thanking God, flow what He has already has done.

Then present yourself before God, “Lord I have given my life to You. You are in charge of every single thing. I want to hear You speak to me. Let the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart be acceptable in His sight (Psalm 19:14). We sin every day as a human beings so be sure to confess your sins. Our unconfessed sin will hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18). Proclaim Him Lord over your life and then come to Hin with your needs.

  • Beyond a list. Having a list when we part helps us to remember things, but when we are going from reading our lists into real praying, sometimes it’s as our words start rolling our. We need to make sure our hearts know what to pray.

The Holy Spirit will help us in our praying (Romans 8:26) We can ask Hin for help. I pray “Holy Spirit, help me in my praying. Show me the words I need to pray, let my words come from the heart.

When we do this, we will experience fervently in our prayer. You can actually feel the burden of pain that other people are feeling. The more you pray, the more you’ll see things from God’s perspective.

I had a friend that was diagnosed with brain cancer, I was praying, but he was really suffering. I prayed, “God please heal him. I would love to have him healed and whole again. Don’t take him from us. But, Lord, if it is Your will that he goes to be with You now, I pray that your will be done,”

We always have to put God’s will in the forefront of our thoughts. I have seen people make demands on God. When they didn’t get what they wanted, they were angry with God.

  • A life-changing Encounter. When you pray for unsaved loved ones, pray exactly as you would pray for a believer.

Pray that God will bless their lives with hope and health. Pray for them to be able to discern the truth. Pray for the attitude of their relationships. There is no way the person to be saved, or healed if no one around them has hope and faith for them, they will, have hope and faith themselves,

Let them know that you are praying for them. Most people would like to hear they are being prayed for. Even if they don’t believe in God.

My church offers a prayer chain you can be put on. So, the members can pray for others. It not a mandatory thing. If you don’t want it, you don’t have to participate. The requests for prayer are sent out in a group text. There is great power in praying together with other whether in person or people praying in one accord. Be wise what you want to share with the group.

Making an impact. When we pray for others, our prayers can enable them to hear God better. When our prayer get sent out into the atmosphere it makes a clear noise. It may seem as if your prayers are not doing anything, but they are – even if you don’t see the person respond right away. Some people may seem like they have a hardened heart toward the Lord. But, we can know that our prayers have an impact because of the power the Holy Spirit is flowing when we pray.

When we don’t see answers. It’s heartbreaking when we pray and pray and don’t see any fruit before a person dies. But if praying was all we could have done. All we can do is hope that we will see them in heaven.

Even when people lose consciousness, they may have awareness that no one sees. If you’ve been praying, remember That; your prayers were heard.

  • Don’t give up. Don’t become angry with God because your prayer was not answered. We do not know God’s ways. His ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:9).
