God’s Answer To Peace

Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace will be with you in all things.

In Philippians 4, God answers the questions on how to find peace.

Don,t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell Him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ. So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always.

People have said to me from time to time, “It’s too hard to follow God.” I find it quite easy. Everything we need to live in the world is written down-everything. Yet, Satan tries his hardest to distract us from where we should be going.

Bible Verse Of The Day

Psalm 1

Blessed is the one who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is the law of the Lord, And in His law he mediates day and ad night. He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings its fruit in it’s season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does will prosper.

The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous, For the Lord knows the way of the righteous. But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Better Health And Less Stress

If you think about it our thoughts are connected to every single area of our lives. They affect or moods, or words our attitudes and even the choices we make. They also affect our emotional and physical health.

Research shows that 75% to 98% of mental, physical, and behavioral illness comes from one’s thoughts. The mind and the body are definitely connected.

We can stress ourselves out by the way we think. If you’re like me, you believe your circumstances are to blame for our unhappiness. But in all actuality it’s the way we think about our circumstances that that usually causes worry and stress.

Stress has been proven to cause issues like muscle tension, headaches, increased heart rate gastrointestinal problems, constipation and diarrhea, it can even cause artery inflammation. And that’s only a few of the side effects. It’s a modern-day epidemic.

But God has given us the answer for worry and stress. In Proverbs 3:5 the amplified Bible the answer is to simply trust. “Lean on, trust in and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.”

Trusting God is the greatest stress reliever in the world, and our minds play an important role in the process. We have a choice. We can rely on our own understanding, insight and endless thinking about our problems, trying to figure out everything on our problems. Or we can chose to adopt a trusting attitude and say “God, I don’t know what I’m going to do about this situation, but, I can’t fix this on my own. If you want me to do something then show me.” Meanwhile choose to trust Him and enjoy your life and let God work on your problems.

Believe you me, I used to be a professional worrier. I was good a worrying about my children, my finances. While my husband would be put working on our vehicle, and laughing with the neighbors. I would say to him, “How can you be outside laughing with the neighbors, while we’re struggling to keep the bills paid.” He he would tell me “we’ve done everything we know to do. I refuse to worry and be miserable.”

It would make me so made, but He was right. I was allowing myself to get upset and waste time I could have been spending with my children. The problem was even though I knew this and would give it to God, my thoughts would go directly back to worrying. I caused myself to have a nervous break down, by just worrying about every little thing. I wasn’t until then, I actually realized that I had to leave it go God to work on.

Yes, I still worry and stress sometimes, I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t. But now I stop and pray. I may not understand why my situation is happening but, I know God has a plan to fix it.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” – John 14:27

Do You Believe In Ghosts?

Ghosts. What do you really think about them? If someone pushes us, most will admit how degree of love for scary stories. But what about the reports of real ghosts, even by sincere Christians few questions seem to know what you think. But if we look at the scriptures,we find solid answers, even on this murky subject.

Both children and adults alike wonder about the existence of ghosts. Some reject the notion. Others insist that ghosts exist and cite experiences. their own or friend-to-friend stories- as proof.

But what is a ghost, although definitions vary, the most common one is that ghosts are disembodied spirits of dead people that linger on earth. According to tradition, ghosts are invisible but can permit humans to see them.

Of course, either a thing exists or it doesn’t. No amount of belief will cause ghosts to exist if they don’t; nor could a personal opinion cause ghosts not to exist If, in fact, they do exist. Because a person’s belief in ghosts creates very serious are far-reaching ramifications it’s a topic that no Christian should ignore.

Tales involving apparitions trip down to earth from ancient times. Various languages contributed words such as wraith, phantom, specter, shade, banshee, and poltergeist. Some stories prove nothing, except that the concept goes back a long way. In fact even Jesus’s disciples mistook Him for a spirit when He appeared walking on the sea at night (Mark 6:49).

Most reports of ghost sightings include details that defy logic. For instance, most alleged apparitions are clothed. If a ghost is a spirit of a dead person, shouldn’t the spirit of fear“ after shutting, its earthly body, and its garments? Is want to conclude that pants, shirts, dresses, and medieval armor contains spirit of their own, that faithfully cling to the ghost of a person?

Further challenges of logic stem from stories of ghost ships (like as the Flying Dutchman), ghost trains, and similar accounts. Does a vehicle constructed by human hands gain s “soul” that reappears later?

People who listen to ghost stories around the campfire, understand that their friends have concocted the tales. They wish to embellish a spooky, darn naturally explains the addition of Synthroid decals as ghostly nightgown and horse carriages. But what about people who insist they really did she spirit manifestations, Is it possible that some individuals, including sincere, Bible – believing Christians truly observe supernatural apparitions?

What Does The Bible Say?

Our Creator of the universe -God offers solid answers to man’s questions. His Word, the Bible, is the foundation for understanding both the disable, invisible world, because God is Lord of both the natural and the supernatural. Regardless of whether a question concerns, the origin of life or human souls, the first resource to check is God‘s Word.

The Bible never portrays souls of lingering after death, (the immediate destination of heaven, or hell) rules out this idea. See, Luke 16:22-23, Luke 23:43, 2 Corinthians 5:8. Yet Scripture bluntly affirms the existence of immaterial intelligences. Mark 5:2-15 details Jesus’s encounter with a man in-dwelt by a multitude of unclean spirits. Jesus ordered them out, but permit them to enter a herd of swine. In Samaria, Phillip preached and “unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed” (Acts 8:7). Later, Acts 19:14-17) tells of a man inhabited by a demon. The sons of Sceva tried to exorcise it, but the man attacked them. however, these aren’t ghosts; They’re demons – fallen angels, governed by Satan (Matthew 12:22-28).

The very fact that humans can enter human or animal bodies, shows that they pass through barriers that would restrict human beings… demons are not human; neither are they God. But they are super human with superior, intelligence and experience and powers. To deny the existence of demon is not skepticism; it only displays ignorance. Could be unrealistic about their power is foolhardy.

Interestingly, the Bible record, one occasion, when the living appeared to contact the dead. King Saul donned a disguise and visited a medium to summon the dead prophet Samuel. (1 Samuel 28;7-21). An apparition that look, like Samuel appeared to the witch – causing her to cry out in freight

However, this passage doesn’t suggest that séances work, and it absolutely does not condone witchcraft. Some scholars believe that God sent Samuel on this unique occasion. But others, believe a demon was impersonating the prophet based on the fact that he made some false claims. Some believe that the apparition was scented to warn that all of Saul’s sons would die on the next day, but some survived.

Either way, the emphasis is that Saul had sunk so low that he tried to dabble in the occult, which God condemns. The next day Saul died.

Grave Conclusions

No evidence has produced to the single fact that should sway a Christian into believing that the spirits of deceased people can loiter on earth. In the light of the Bible, the only conclusion is that ghost sightings are either the figment of overactive imagination, or else they are demons.

People sometimes genuinely encounter a spirit entity – though not a dead human. Some people encounter demonic spirits, who may mimic dead people in order to deceive the living (1 John 4:1; 1 Timothy 4:1-3).

But why would demons want to deceive the living by impersonating the dead?

As servants of Satan and enemies of God, they would have every reason to cast out on God‘s word, and it’s warning about future judgment. Getting people to believe in ghosts automatically forces them to reject key verses in the Bible, like Hebrews 9:27.

Do you believe in ghosts? The question is huge. Coming to the wrong conclusion about the afterlife had eternal consequences, and the wrong choice on this side of the grave can condemn a soul to eternal agony on the other side.

When my Father passed away I was at his home, looking for some papers I needed. And a seen my Father walk across the hallway. I knew it probably was just my imagination. Sometimes we are very close to our loved ones, our brains create a prediction of what’s “out there.” It is a revised feedback from the world, and forms the bases of what we perceive. Our perception is an edited hallucination. I was so used to seeing my Father in his home, it was the perception of my Father always being there for me. This has a term it’s called “bereavement hallucination.”

It’s Never Too Late

I think one of the greatest lies we can believe is, “It’s too late!” At some time in our life, we feel we’ve missed our chance or messed up a opportunity. Many believe they’ve been disqualified from a great future, that their best days are behind them.

If you feel like you’ve missed your chance for that opportunity, you have a great life that has passed you by. Know that God is on your side. It’s never too late.

While God himself never changes, He is a God of change. He’s always doing something new and working behind the scenes in our lives who bring about new beginnings. Where we see failure, God sees potential or something new. The minute we stumble and come apart, God is already planning our comeback. When we mess up plan A we don’t have to worry because God has a plan B.

In Isaiah 43:19, God says, “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing now it was spring forth; you will not be aware of it. I won’t even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.”

If this was true, would you go back to school and earn your degree? Would you reconcile with an old friend or attempt to make up for past mistakes? Would you follow your passion in life or try to fulfill your dreams!

Whatever it may be, God want you to know that it’s never too late to begin again and have a great life. He is on your side and put a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

But we have to cooperate with God’s plan, we must stay determined. One thing I’ve learned in life when you feel discouraged, whenever doubt, or criticize you even when your dreams seem like they just never happen, that’s when we need to keep moving forward.

Have you ever felt a calling on your life and people discouraged you to do what you know is in your heart. You may lose some friends, and even your family members will turn their backs on you. But you know you were called to do a certain job, and go certain places, And even talk to strangers.

Sometimes my family says I embarrass them because go up to strangers and start talking to them about what their feeling. If people are struggling I just know it. I am up to help someone every way I can. Life can be hard, I’ve been through some tough times where I have had to struggle alone. No one should have to be alone with that. It seems like when your struggling all your friends and maybe even family seem to you desert you.

I know that God has spoken to my heart, and I know that I have a bit of empathy and compassion to help others, and teach God‘s word if they will listen. I certainly would not be fulfilling God’s call my life now, and I would be miserable if I couldn’t help people with the Colin I have on my life.

Satan, Only wants to quit and give up. He continually lies to us and tells us things like, who do you think you are? That’s never going to happen. Do you really believe God spoke to you you’re going to do that?

How many times were you tempted to quit when a breakthrough is right around the corner. But if you just keep moving forward and remain steadfast and refuse to give up, you will reach your goal and walking God’s plan for your life.

Yes, there would be disappointments or setbacks to endure. But one thing I do know, God loves you, He sees you, and He has a plan to help you begin again. Because he is a God of fresh starts, new beginnings and great finishes.

He is the One who makes all things new – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Spiritual Bondages And Strongholds

The phrase “demon-possessed” appears in many Bible translations, but “demon oppressed” doesn’t. Neither of you phrases are used in the original languages. The literal translation I’ll be original words is “demonize.” Being demonized could be just cried I’ve been under heavy your demonic influence. Every person on earth is under your morning influence you some degree, ranging from subtle to extreme.

Spiritual bondage refers to the condition of people affected by a demonic entity to the degree they lose some degree of their freedom to function normally.

Spiritual Stongholds

The best explanation of spirit old I’ve ever heard from a book called Francis Frangipane’s, “The Three Battlegrounds. A spiritual strong hold he says, is another word for an area of our lives we defend against God a wall we erect between us and God through rebellion, ignorance, deceit. Satan may inhabit a spiritual stronghold. But we are the ones who build it.

Here’s how that might work. Since God is light, and walls we build in our minds cast a shadow on our souls, creating a dark place that becomes a natural habitat for sin, lies, and/or demons to thrive. Certain what are into giving him a dark when you set up shop, we foolishly oblige him. A spiritual strong hold, then is a form of spiritual bondage.

In 2 Corinthians 10:3 5 Paul describes a stronghold. This definition is brilliant because the problem isn’t the demon per se, it’s us. Demolish the stronghold, the pride, the argument, the sinful barrier. And in the light streams in. Darkness have no place to hide. Yes sounds a lot like Ephesians 5:8-20 where Paul talks about being children of light and exposing the darkness.

So, what is a spiritual stronghold? A place of darkness, sin and lies in us that we defend against God. What is Spiritual bondage? The result of giving the devil that price to exercise power over us.

That said, even in cases of extreme spiritual bondage, the devil can’t override our free will. When I demon have control it because they’ve been given control in the form of a spiritual stronghold. Most people don’t give Satan control were create a spiritual stronghold on purpose; it happens without them realizing they’re doing it. We give him control by giving him power, and that power over us is the essence of spiritual bondage.

How Does Spiritual Bondage Happen? How Are Spiritual Strongholds Created?

There are four main ways that Satan your dupes us into creating the spiritual strongholds he can use to put us into spiritual bondage:

  • Believing Lies (which is agreeing with Satan, the liar). If I could convince you that our piano will fall from the sky and crush you if you go outside (a lie). I could keep you indoors (I’d have power over you). That’s a spiritual stronghold in your mind.
  • Choosing To Sin. As Paul said, “you were dead in your transgressions and sins,” in which you used to live when you followed the ways of the world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.” (Ephesians 2:1-2). The Bible teaches that persistent disobedience can lead to spiritual bondage.
  • Giving In To Fear. Satan is a fear- monger. So what is spiritual bondage? Spiritual bondage is giving Satan a measure of control (a spiritual stronghold) and living under that control.
  • Trauma. Satan is a sadist, and he loves to piggyback on our pain. Many people we have demonic infestations or suffer from demonic oppression have experienced painful moments when the enemy gains access.

Can A Christian Be Demon Possessed?

When people asked whether a question can be demon possessed, what are usually ask he is, Can Christian be indwelled by an evil spirit?” Or can Christians be possessed by a demon ? These are very different questions,

It’s possible to give Satan power over us to the point where he is but I won’t run into our own, so that he is able to “set up shop” in our hearts and exercise want a rule there. Just ask Annanias and Sapphira in the book of Acts, chapter 5. Their hearts were “filled” with Satan just as Peter’s was filled with the Spirit.” That’s a spiritual stronghold.

So, a Christian can be filled with a evil spirit, but can a Christian be owned by one? Eternally, ultimately, legally, No. They’ve been purchased by Christs blood. But practically, functionally , in a “who’s calling the shots“ Yes. A Christian can definitely be trapped in the spirit for bondage, a spiritual stronghold.

Removing The Authority Of The Enemy

The enemy never does anything new. He always repeats the same attacks, his power is inferior, he does not have authority- unless you give it to him. We have to know Satan’s ploys against us, before we can defeat him in our lives. We people are ignorant Satan can have power over us.

A stronghold is the place Satan uses to attack us and it is a place of operation. From our minds to our emotions. Satan can use these things to control areas of our lives.

We have let Satan seek into every area of the America, and he is running rampant. We need to become aware of his strategies in our lives and in America or he will destroy everything we hold dear.

In Genesis Jesus recovered the authority that Adam gave Satan. We Jesus came He came without sinful nature. He had authority to cast any ploy Satan and stop him. But because of man’s sinful nature we after Adam’s sin we have fallen.

There is a confrontation to two kingdoms. Jesus is a manifestation of the domination and the demonstration of the kingdom f God. When Jesus died on the cross, He gave us authority He said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than Me you will do; because I have become your Father” (John 14:13). But we have seemed to forget the power we have in Christ. Every time we cast out spirits and demons, we are taking God’s dominion and demonstrating the kingdom of God.

Jesus took away satan’s rights and gave us the right to have Dominion and power to overcome Satan. In any war, we must know our rights. If you are a believer you have the power and authority. Jesus gave this to us when we was on the cross.

Insomuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Hebrew 2:14-15

The world is in the bondage of Satan, When are we going to start fighting with the authority that God have given us?

We must declare the defeat of Satan all of the time.

He is defeated

He is dethroned

He is destroyed

Satan and his evil spirits have power. But He can’t do anything without the consent of men.

How to remove any authority Satan has over you?

1.Repent

Always check if you have given Satan any legal right in your life. With any sin that is not confessed, any disobedience or ignorance leads to open doors to the enemy.

Your heartfelt repentance always removes any legal right of the enemy. Check your heart, the things you say, your thoughts and your actions. Let Jesus wash away your sins and remove any authority the enemy had over you.

2. Refocus

Look-up. The Bible tells to put our eyes on Jesus and not on the battle. However, every time we are close to a breakthrough, a distraction will come to shift our focus away from God.

Satan uses accusations, persecutions, and distractions to take our focus off Jesus.

We must realize that Satan’s distraction is never more powerful than looking to Jesus. If we think about it, isn’t this exactly what’s going on in the World today, Satan causes us so to have distractions that we are not focusing on where we must spend our time.

Fighting to release the bondage the enemy has us in. By the time we take the blinders off our eyes. Satan will of have destroyed so many people’s lives. Then it will be too late.
