What’s Something You Used To Worry About But No Longer Do

The simple answer is everything. I used to be a chronic worrier. I felt that if I weren’t in control of everything and everyone the world would fall apart. Then someone told me, that I could change my thoughts. If I didn’t like what I was worried about, I could change it. I slowly began transitioning from being a chronic worrier into having a calmer mindset.
That required me to shift my focus from unpredictable outcomes to actionable present-moment behaviors. I began training my brain through intentional techniques, broke the cycle of continuous low-level stress, and found peace of mind.

The human brain is a marvel of biological efficiency and adaptability. It operates on about 20 watts of power, that’s roughly the energy needed to dim a lightbulb, meaning the brain can effortlessly process meaning, adapt to new environments, and fuel our consciousness.

I learned I could train my brain to perceive different situations. I could change my thoughts and perspective to become a calmer, peaceful, person, all by learning to trust God in every circumstance. And it began by trusting God almighty because He has everything under control.
