What Was The Last Movie I Watched That Made Me Cry?

This prompt question had me thinking. I don’t watch much Television or go to the theater much. But, the last movie I watched was the historical drama series – The Chosen.
This series intentionally focuses on the deep humanity, relational warmth, and raw personal redemption of its characters rather that just rigid scripture recounting. Th scenes of highlighting deep personal brokenness and Jesus gently acknowledging someone’s long hard road of suffering hit close to home for me.
The raw acting by Jonathan Roumi (Jesus) and Elizabeth Tabitha (Mary Magdalene) leaned into heavily authentic emotional reactions through every scene brought me to tears.
