Suppose I could go back and witness a historical event I would choose Jesus’s resurrection. Can you imagine being with Mary Magdalene when she felt, the deep grief, the confusion, then the complete joy when she found Jesus’s body gone and then realized he was alive? When Jesus spoke her name she probably shifted from darkest sorrow to overwhelming wonder.
