What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done? I have made calculated choices for years. But a few of them weren’t so calculated, like going zip lining on a weekend road trip or starting this blog. I classify myself as a perfectionist. I need a detailed blueprint before embarking on anything new. If you had asked me the day before I went zip lining I would’ve said “Nope” It’s too dangerous, flying through the air with a harness and a tether, is something I would ever thinking about.
The same went for this blog; I thought I wouldn’t have anything to say that anyone would care about. I didn’t know how to get set up to even do this, and it needed to be polished to perfection. With my usual wall of overthinking, I crumbled and decided that if I could help one person I would be worth it. And if I let my mind overthink it, I would never do it. The decision was born from a desire to help someone not make the same mistakes I did in life. And putting my knowledge of how I live for God there. Every day I am overwhelmed that people even read my blog.

I’m not very impulsive. I usually think a thing over very carefully before I jump into it!

Blogging is a way of connecting that just makes my world!!!! It’s amazing what will catch readers’ attention.
Spend hours working on a blog…fine-tune it to perfection…lots of nice pictures… flowery words…. and it barely gets a couple of likes!!
Then….. just share a brief thought, hit “send” and the comments arrive by the dozens!🫢🫢

Me too and it makes me happy to have some that are close to me so that we have more things in common to chat about. (With me, it’s mostly about the chatting) What good are ideas if you can’t share them with someone???
