I Never Knew You

Is it possible to spend your life in church and your eternity in hell.

Imagine, for a moment what would be like to die and open your eyes in hell. Even more terrifying if you had spent your life in church, supposedly doing all the right things.

Not everyone that says to me “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my father who is in heaven. Mini won’t tell me in that day, Lord Lord, didn’t we prophesied in your name, and your name cast out demons, and in your name too many mighty works? Then I will tell them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity.

Matthew 7:21-23

The three verses in the book of Matthew are probably some of the most troubling scriptures to me. They probably because they describe me in the body of Christ, who are face value, are seemingly doing the right things, Yeah death or refused entrance into the eternal reward of righteousness.

Messages in the church today are blessed with a tremendous anointing to moving the gifts of the Holy Spirit. During church services, prophecies, words of wisdom or words of knowledge seem to just flow out of them (have I not prophesied in your name?).

Many have stood face-to-face with some of the most wicked spirits that hell produce, casting them out of their victims, and sending them back to the abyss (and in my name cast out demons?).

Others have large and far wiki ministries and mega churches. They fed the poor, supply relief and found his Third World countries. They have seen multitudes come to Jesus and receive salvation and physical healing (and in my name done wonderful works?).As they stand before the Lord of Lords expecting to hear “Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of the Lord” (Matthew 25:21). Words were ringing in their ears throughout eternity, I never knew you depart from me you worker of iniquity.

The groups will also include mini Sunday school teachers, pastors and evangelist. Song leaders, choir members and musicians may also be in these numbers, along with elders, deacons and stewards. From the most influential member of the laity to the least, Mini run the risk of being rejected entrance into the kingdom of heaven.

How can this happen? It seems impossible that people with ministries, that we have judge is successful and blessed, bar into such a spiritual wasteland. But nonetheless it could happen.

Scripture Must Interpret Scripture

One of the biggest mistakes we make when reading our Bibles is that too often we use our denominational doctrine or religious traditions as our standard or scriptural interpretation. This is backwards theology. We met with scripture, Incontact, interpret our doctrines. When we allow doctrine or tradition to interpret scripture we run the risk, like the Pharisees, of falling into religious tradition.

It seems that religious people’s spiritual lives Are usually created around doctrinal traditions rather than God’s words and it’s entirety.

many times people believe that once you’re saved, you’re always saved. I get askedmany times people believe that once you’re saved, you’re always saved. I get asked sometimes does your church speak in tongues? The sad fact is, they do not want an answer from God‘s word but only want to argue doctrine. When we are just people witness, for the most part, they will use the name of Jesus only to create another convert to their doctrine and to their religious philosophy. Many times they do more harm to the kingdom of God then they do good.

Many people will tell you that Christianity and other Bible believing religions are false. Many people say things that they think are scriptural but are not. I tell you read the Bible and research it for yourself. Many people are on their way to hell just like the Pharisees because they believe the other people are telling them to scriptural doctrine.

There’s a easy way to tell: if it doesn’t line up with God’s word, it is false.

Fellowship with God is when shared values are in place are genuine biblical fellowship occurs. This fellowship produces our mutual cooperation in God’s worship, God’s work, and God’s will being done in the world.
