Everyday I find it harder and harder to grasp all the hate and corruption going on in the world today. As I prayed to God I asked Him to help me to understand. Yes, I know the world has about seen it’s last days. But I even see so called “God believing” people have so much hate in the hearts.
It all depends on who your god is.
Everyone has a God. For everyone, but Christians they have a god, lower case ‘g’ aka an idol. Muslims have a god. Buddhists have a god(s). Hindus have a god(s). Atheists have a god, etc…
Atheists have a god? Sure. They see him in the mirror or in “humanity.” Their god is man in either a micro or macro sense.
How can you tell what a person’s God is? Look where they get their laws (or where they get their ethics or morality, from which they legislate). What’s true of society is true of individuals who make up that society or culture.
It must be recognized that in any culture the source of law is the god of the society.

Before you get all bent out of shape about such a statement, stop and think about it a moment. Law is about authority. Authority is be definition above or over someone. Whatever you recognize as having authority over you, bosses at work, parents over children, civil magistrates/ authorities, ect… Law is legislated morality. Legislation, laws are definitions around morality. Who defines that morality, hence laws, is the ultimate authority, hence your God. Where do you get your laws then, is your God. It’s quite simple really.
So everyone has a God, consequently, a religion and hints worship and some warm or another. Every religion has forms of worship informed by the religious authority of their god. Islam, judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, the pursuit of pleasure; sensual self-indulgence, is worship of self, the person they see in the mirror. Hedonism is increasingly the religion of American culture.
What is the standard you have for where you get your laws? Whatever that is, that’s your God. Even professing Christians in America fall into such adultery, and looking to a state, often citing rulings of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOT US) as their standard. That’s how you get the potion Christian, indicating that abortion is “legal” Says who? The SCOTUS? The God who is, says it’s murder, says it’s Murder.
Isaiah 45:5-7 says,
I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you may not known Me; that men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun that there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other, the One forming light and creating darkness,causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the Lord who does all these.
Isaiah 45:5-7
The only God who is has given us His perfect law. He is the ultimate authority, and His law is to be legislated, judged and punished. He not only indicated that He alone is to be worshiped, how He is to be worshiped.
Everyone has a God, everyone has a religion and everyone worships. There is only one true God, there is only one true religion, and only His commanded way to worship Him.
Consider this the next time someone says to you, “separation of church and state“ nonsense at you. They may be trying to claim that neutrality is possible. It isn’t. They are stating that the State is god, plain and simple. The State will determine laws as the ultimate authority. The State will determine how you will worship in its schools. Will bow down to man and his standards of morality, determined by what? Majority, mob rule, as in democracy? Welcome to tyranny of the majority of men and their whims so easily swayed by ongoing rebellion against God’s law for the pursuit of their own chosen hedonism.
All the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves, teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
All of us, like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the Lord has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.
Isaiah 53:6
Doesn’t the first reference of 2 Timothy sound like modern America? Man loves to tickle his own ears, and his self loving conceit. “ i’m actually a woman,” or a “furry” or whatever he wants to establish under the nonsense nomenclature, gender. Gender is a linguistic term, not a biological one.
“We came from apes,” which can from amphibians, which came from fish, which came from single-cell life forms, which came from some accident, which was a result of some big bang where everything spontaneously erupted from nothing.” Everything is then meaningless and completely cause-and-effect with a magical, first cause and with no free will. Everything is predetermined by accidental interaction of randomly long particles sprung from nothing and heading back to nothing, so everything means nothing. Hopelessness.
Thank God, none of that is true. everything’s wrong from the only God who is. He is. The Authority, The Government. He sets the laws. We have provided hope for our lost condition as we read in the second reference in Isaiah. He planned from eternity past that He would send His Son to pay the penalty for our idolatry and from any other sin for His chosen people.
And you shall call His name, Jesus, for He will save his people from their sins

He chooses? Yep again there is no neutrality. There is free determination. Everyone believes this is true. Everyone believes in absolutes. Every evolutionary scientist believes absolutes exist or they’d have no basic to test experiments expecting repeatability. Otherwise hot water and salt mix today. Get you saline solution, but tomorrow they could yield a black hole.
