Inner Strength

It is within yourself that you will find the strength you need.

Faith is the strength by which a shattered world shall emerge into the light. -Helen Keller-

Physical strength can be impressive. Have you ever watched one of those Strong Man Competitions where huge men lift cars, pull buses, and throw large barrels over a wall? Their physical strength is amazing. Even if we are impressed, most of us aren’t very interested in trying to do what they do.

It’s much different with “Inner Strength.” People with inner strength are not only admired by others but they also possess an attribute that most people desire for themselves.

Sometimes in life, things just seem to go from bad to worse. Problems and grief often compound and the difficulties of life can become overwhelming. This is where inner strength shows up. Inner strength comes from the combination of facing the brutal facts of reality yet never losing hope.

People with inner strength also have a strong influence on others Ruth in the Bible had grief and despair and was attracted to the inner strength of Naomi. Ruth gained her strength to keep going from being with Naomi. Their story is in Ruth 1: 1-16. People with inner strength strengthen others.

A positive attitude is essential for having inner strength. However, shallow optimism that fails to acknowledge the difficult and painful reality of life will be more like a flare of hope that quickly burns out.

Gaining inner strength is like building a fire with wet logs. It’s never easy. You must deal with the challenges but stay determined to overcome. Once the fire ignites however, not only will the difficulties begin to fade away, but others will be warmed by your fire.

We have the opportunity to demonstrate inner strength by living out our faith through difficult times. Remember, it’s never easy and you should never attempt the journey with Faith and hope in God without him guiding you. Just like physical strength, you must exercise your inner strength to prepare yourself for the challenges of life that will come your way.

Be disciplined in developing your inner strength through the challenges you face today. By doing so, you will gain greater strength for overcoming hope.

You have Power Over Your Mind, Not Outside Events, Realize This And You Will Find Strength. – Anonymous-

Are We Living In The End Times?

Many people have ask me this, surely all of us have had this thought atone time of another.

Some of the things we have witnessed recently are’s I unprecedented that they have caused me to honestly wonder. “Are We Living In The End Times? Is this it? Are we getting close to the return of Christ?

The simple answer is, “Yes, we are living in the end times. But the real answer is more complicated than that.

Revelations 22:12 says “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give each person according to what they have done.”

While we will never know the time of Jesus’s return. It is best to be ready.

Just asking “Are We Living in the end times? Make me feel guilty. My troubles over the past years are pale in comparison to what many believers have experienced in the past and some even are experiencing now. As we complain about the wearing masks, I wonder how many believers are being persecuted or are going to be in prison camps and be tortured.

Some of the events taking place are things I never expected so see in my lifetime. A global pandemic. Cities burning. Increased hostility and hatred. What’s happening over seas.

Seeing these events before my eyes have made me ache for heaven and caused me to ask the question that many asked in the Bible: “How long, O Lord.”

As I said in one sense the answer is yes. New Testament writers understood the end times to be the entire period of time between Christ’s first and second coming. The Apostle John said in 1John 2:18, “Children, it is the last hour….”

The last hour? Really? Was John really 2000 years off?

Well, no John did now know exactly when Christ would return. (even though he literally saw it happening in Revelation) But he considered any time between now and then to be the last hour or the end times.

What is tells us is that the Apostles were not concerned with giving us the quantity of time but the quality of time. The end times were not a set number of days or years, but the distinct period of time in which the gospel would go fourth, the church would suffer, a lot of bad things would happen, and eventually Jesus would come back.

We are living in the end times and have been since the first century and will be until Jesus returns. We have been living in days that things are bad and getting worse all the time. These are the end times, and we should hope and pray these end times hurry up and end.

But what you really ant to know, and let’s be honest, the reason you clicked this post, is this: are we living in the end of the end times? Are these the last few days or months or years Jesus comes back and fixes all this mess?

The answer is, honesty, we don’t know. And anyone who claims to know probably want to sell you a book or wants money before they tell you.

Every genre of believers has looked around at the utter wickedness in their world and thought, “Surely, this is it.” This has led to some to even make predictions on the day or year. (don’t do that)

The truth is, Bible teaches that certain event will precede the final return of Christ. A few of those things are:

-The preaching of the gospel to the entire world. (Matthew 24:14)

-The Antichrist coming to great power, being worshipped by many, slaughtering a lot of Christian’s and performing great miracles. Revelations 15)

-The tribulation which will be an intense time of suffer that seems to far outweigh anything we have experienced to this point. (Revelations 8 and 9)

These things have not happened and need to happen before Christ’s return. Jesus himself said in Matthew 24 that wars, famines, and earthquakes were not signs of the end but the beginning of the birth pains.

It’s sad to say. But I believe things are going to get worse, much worse.

Maybe that happens quickly or maybe it doesn’t and Jesus’s coming will be delayed.

Either way, the Bible makes clear. We should not spend our time matching newspaper articles to Bible prophecy trying to discern the last day. (Mark 13:32)

But what we should be doing is be ready. Make disciples, warn others, and trust the process.

I believe we are living Matthew 24 right now.

Pray Fervently

Our Father, who are in heaven, hallowed be thy name: thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Repent be forgiven and start following God if you haven’t done so already. Be ready for Christ’s return.

God Bless You All

The Four Winds Of The Bible

Wind, and more specifically the four winds, as they as mentioned through Scripture.

In the nature, these four winds are used to refer to winds originating from the four corners of the earth: north, south, east and west.

But the winds that the Bible talks about are Spirits; agents of war, positioned in Heaven, and released by God for battle.

The Powerful Northern Wind

Accompanied by lightning that brings rain, growth, and increase.

The Warm Wind From The South

Which brings peace, quiet, healing and comfort.

The Strong And Dry Eastern Wind

Which scorches, devastates, and separates.

The Wind From The West

Which drives off the devourer and brings relief and the promise of ‘rain’ of blessing and transformation.

In the final step of raising up a vast living army from dry bones, the prophet Ezekiel is commanded by God to prophesy to the breath; to ‘come from the four winds’ and enter the unliving beings. -Ezekiel 37:9- When faced with the valley of dry bones, Ezekiel found himself in a dire situation and God knew that simply speaking to the bones would not be enough, super a intervention was needed, breath entered the dead bodies, and they came to life again. It was time to engage the spiritual forces fighting with God. There is a level of warfare that believers do not always understand or tap into; the level at which we fight with the four winds. God fights the enemy with the lightning in His storehouse, so He commands lighting and thunder to fight for Him, and He invites us to use the same strategy.

Then He said to me, “ Prophesy to the breath: prophesy, son of man, and say to it, This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain , that they may live.” -Ezekiel 37:9-

When you have discernment of these things, it becomes an incredibly powerful tactic in spiritual warfare. When you speak and prophesy and you don’t see anything changing, you can ask God to release His anointing to bring alignment in your life; to shift things in your favor. Similar to a tornado or gale-force wind that moves earthly objects as heavy as cars and moves from one place to another, so the mission of the four winds of heaven is to move and rearrange things in the spirit. The four winds come shake things up so that all can come into Devine order.

The Mission Of The Four Winds Of Heaven Is To Rearrange Things In The Spirit.

When the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of the . And they began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave then utterance. -Acts 2:1-4-

The “mighty rushing wind” was not the Holy Spirit. Although one of the attributes of the Holy Spirit is the wind, this wind wax a carrier of the Holy Spirit. So the wind carried the tongues of fire, and as the wind filled the place tongues of fire appeared. This could be the four winds of heaven that came down carrying the Holy Ghost on their shoulders, bringing Him into the house.

In 1 Kings 18, Elijah prophesied to Ahab that it was going to rain. After Elijah prayed seven times, there was a cloud, but before that he said, “I hear the sound of abundance of rain. After you have prophesied you have spoken and proclaimed the Word of the Lord, and decreed His promises over your life,it is time for the rushing winds to come in.

How is it possible for a man to talk to the wind? And yet God commanded Ezekiel to do just that: to prophecy to the wind and tell it to enter the dead bodies in the valley. This has to be spiritual wind empowered with the abilities of Heaven because natural winds don’t wake up dead people! This wind is alive and has the ability to hear what the Word of the Lord says and heed His command. This wind proceeds from the inside of God; the same God breathed into the nostrils of man when He created him, because that wind dwells in God Himself; it is called the breath of life.

Ezekiel understood and engaged in a deep level of warfare. He understood that some dimensions of prayer and intercession go far beyond praying with your mind, but rather praying with the abilities of heaven. A dimension where you are no longer just saying what comes to mind, but you align with heaven and proclaim what heaven is decreeing. God told Ezekiel to speak to the winds.

One day Jesus was on a boat, and there was a contrary wind. -Matthew 14- This specific wind is different to the four winds: this is the wind of destruction. Jesus knowing this, spoke to the wind and it receded down. The Word says that ‘He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world.’ -1 John 4:4- When the Holy Ghost dwells in you, and you realize that you carry the wind of heaven and all of its abilities inside of you, you are not a beggar anymore. You don’t beg for change, you speak the oracle of God with authority because heaven is at home in your life.

In John 20, Jesus came to the disciples and released the wind by blowing out them. Once again, this was not a natural wind, but the wind proceeding from the inner being of God, Jesus breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. Similar to Acts 2, the Holy Ghost was not the wind; the wind was the carrier of grace. The Holy Ghost flew on the wings of the winds and disciples received the Holy Spirit!

Engaging in spiritual warfare does not just entail proclaiming the promises of God over your life, but also a depth of knowledge and application of the Word, whereby you know that you can talk to the wind and it will obey you. God told Ezekiel to speak to the winds and he was commanded, he prophesied to the four winds, and the dead came back to life.

Many of us are ignorant of what we are carrying unaware of Who is inside of us and the magnitude of His power. We are the very storehouses of Heaven, and yet we keep begging for our situations to change, instead of stepping out in authority and demanding that the situation turns around. There are times to intercede, and there are times to speak forth. There are times to ask for Devine intervention, and then there are the for God to release agents of warfare from the storehouse of heaven. These are the four winds; heavenly hosts; angels dispatched to shift things in regard to you. -Psalm 91-

The Shofar

Once the horn of a Ram, the shofar has been cut off and taken through a cleansing process, making it an instrument separated from any purpose other than responding to breath passing through its chamber. We, the servants of the King, are maturing in the same process in the school of the Holy Spirit.

Patterns of sound released from this instrument in faith and understanding, and at the direction of the Holy Spirit, is one of the most powerful agents of change on the planet. Spiritual forces in the heavens understand fully and must respond to that sound. Portals in the heavens are opened and the earthly atmosphere charged with the power of the Most High.

Spiritual forces and obstacles resisting His kingdom are removed, the heavens shift, walls fall down. Kingdom Come… on earth as it is in Heaven.

God’s Instruction Manual For Life

We are made in the image of God with an inner desire for an authentic relationship with our maker

The sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He awakens me morning by morning He awakens m ear to listen like one being instructed. -Isaiah 50:4-

Rarely does my husband read the instruction manuals of the children’s toys. As I on the other hand am meticulous to follow each step in sequence until the assembly is complete and correct. It’s the classic tortoise verses the hare! Guess who gets it right at a slower pace and who “finishes” first, but has to u assemble and reassemble several of the most critical pieces. You guessed correctly the one who didn’t take time or interest to understand the instruction manual really finishes last. Fortunately, our Heavenly Father has given us Him promises and commands as explained in the Bible to protect us from ourselves, so we can enjoy life as He intended us to.

Scripture is primarily about our need for a Savior. With an other worldly elegance it describes the nature of God and the loving salvation hHe provides for the pinnacle of His creation: Human beings. We are made in the image of God with an inner desire for an authentic relationship with our Maker. Within this personalized love letter on how to live and die are the Lord’s promises and commands that define our purpose, give moral courage and teach wise ways to live life.

“Show me your ways, Lord teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” -Psalm 35:4-5-

Imagine if we could understand what the Bible is at a young age and live in the way it describes. The possibilities would be endless.

God’s Promises

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” -Hebrews 10:23-

What are some of the Lord’s promises for His people? Psalm 19:8-11 paints a beautiful portrait of some of the promises of God:

Refreshes the soul, like cold sweet tea to a sweltering body, so the Bible instructs with an instant infusion of hope and comfort to a fatigued faith.

Gives wisdom to know reality of what is God’s best in the middle of an array of good options. Wisdom is mental confidence to move forward to total trust of the Spirit’s leading.

Rejoices the heart, indeed music to the heart in the lyrics of the Lord’s gentle voice. Joy found in Jesus is a necessity to be including life’s backpack of resources to finish well providing stamina for life’s journey.

All of them just, a promise of God may not make sense or even seem fair at the onset, but in time we are able to see the justice of doing the next right thing. We can only change ourselves and trust God to mold and manage other’s hearts. God’s promises have His 100% guarantee.

God’s Commands

“Yet you are near, Lord, and all you commands are true.” -Psalm 119:151-

What is the nature of God’s commands for His children?

God’s commands are true because they ate based on the trustworthiness of our ever faithful Heavenly Father. He is never changing and always available for us to access His grace, mercy, love and forgiveness.

God’s commands invite obedience. Our obedience to Christ’s commands are a clear indicator of our love for Him. -John 14:15-24-

God’s commands lead us in God’s will. When we do what our Heavenly Father desires, we are able to experience His best. -Psalm 40:8- His commands are not burdensome but uplifting.

“This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out His commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands. And His commands are not burdensome, for every one born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. -John 5:2-4-

God’s Presence Dispels Fear

When we encounter fears and dangers on the turbulent waters of this human scene, is there anything we can turn to for help? Christ Jesus taught his followers that all have a Devine Parent whom he called our Father. He proved that this Father. He proved that this Father is always present to protect and save when we turn to Him in prayer.

In His own life Jesus was supremely conscious of this healing and sustaining presence of God when he was tempted by the Satan, when he was threatened by a hostile mob, when he was in danger from a severe storm at sea. In every case he was protected: His consciousness of the presence of God excluded the fear of danger.

Trust in God, based on the understanding of His nature, enables us to surmount fear. We need to feels God’s presence more consistently through prayer, through quiet listening for His pure thoughts and affirmation of His absolute supremacy. God is all-power, the one mind, guiding and protecting His creation, and we can come to feel and prove this.

In the Bible, the prophet represents God as saying, “I the Lord thy God will hold your right hand, saying to you, Fear not; I will help you.’

Here’s an example of knowing God’s presence is with us: Last week after I finished grocery shopping, I was bringing them in the house. I was hot and tired. The last trip to the car I thought “I can get all these groceries and save some time.” I suddenly heard a voice an unction if you will, to not do it, just do the second trip to the car. Which I ignored, I managed to get to my cement steps without dropping anything, but as I was trying to haul everything up the stairs I missed a step and fell, when I did I managed to break my ankle in two places and my foot.

Last night I was praying and asking God “why did this happen to me” like poor me. I heard Him say, “if you have listened you would not be in this predicament right now. I then remembered that unction that I should have not tried to make one trip with the rest of the groceries. I should have listened and obey the words God said. Be conscious of the warnings that come from the Father. He will keep you safe.

In Isaiah 41:13. The Bible tells us the God is Spirit. Therefore He is not limited to a certain area where, as a result, there is safety. God, by virtue of His nature as Spirit, Life, Truth, and Love, is present everywhere, and man can never be outside the safety of His presence. God is all: there is no other presence, no other power. This truth, as we perceive it, enables us to gain mastery over the fear of danger and over danger itself.

God is everywhere. There is no speech not language, where their voice is not heard and this voice is truth that destroys error and Love that casts out fear.

I have a friend that is filled with fear at the thought of traveling on the water. This fear was associated with her father that had tried to drown her when she was young. She would never go by the water or on a boat if she could possibly help it. This fear in her was contributed by choking and making herself vomit every time she was near water.

A bunch of us friends decided to go boating at the lake one weekend. She realized that life long fear had to be surmounted. She began to see that even in the confines of a small boat she was in the presence of God. How could that presence bring anything but joy and peace. She knew that God was in perfect control of His Spiritual Universe, and that she and her friends could experience that control every day. We prayed when we got to the lake and the mini vacation proved to be a great success. My friend didn’t choke or become nauseous. God’s presence can dispel fear.

Perception of His presence reveals that true and unfailing nature of our security. God’s man-our actual selfhood is utterly safe, now, for there is nothing to fear in the safety of God’s presence, from which we are inseparable.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid for the Lord…is my song; He also has become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall we say, Praise the Lord, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, make mention that His name is exalted. -Isaiah 12:2-4-
